Terms of Service

Last updated September 2, 2026

Agreement to terms

By accessing merism.org (the "Site"), operated by Merism LLC, a North Carolina company ("Merism," "we," "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

What the Site is

The Site is a studio portfolio: it describes Merism's design, development, AI integration, custom tooling, and support work, and shows selected examples of that work. It does not sell anything, take payments, or offer accounts or logins. It does accept project inquiries through the intake form at /start.html; what that form collects, and where it goes, is described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

The Site's design, logo, copy, and code are the property of Merism LLC unless otherwise noted, and may not be copied or reused without permission. Work shown in the portfolio section belongs to the respective project or client as applicable; it's shown here for illustrative purposes.

No warranties

The Site and its content are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Portfolio descriptions are illustrative and may not reflect the current state of a live project.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Merism LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.

Third-party services

The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts. Use of that service is subject to Google's own terms and privacy policy, which we don't control.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
